Welcome

Thank you for visiting my website. It provides a showcase for some of my photography, and gives information about me, my judging and lecturing, and Spirit & Vision Landscape Photographic Workshops. 

My images are presented in two different ways, as Galleries which have a fairly tight theme and are displayed in the form of a slide show, and as Portfolio pages which can be scrolled down, and are organised by location.  Altogether there are 202 pictures on this site to look at!

In addition there are six articles to read - Detail in the Landscape, My Philosophy,  Photographic Style, a Photo Story, Photographic Equipment. and Printing.

Image of the Month

Porthcurno Figures

This was taken on the lovely beach at Porthcurno in Cornwall in April 2011, near the famous Minack Theatre.    While shooting rock details I looked up to see this family of surfers in their wet suits walking along the tide line. I really enjoyed the elegant silhouetted figures against the impressive rock structure in the background.
